Write for ZProStudio
We publish expert-written tech articles read by 48,000+ people every month. If you have hands-on experience and something worth sharing, here's everything you need to know about contributing.
Who We're Looking For
ZProStudio accepts contributions from developers, engineers, marketers, cybersecurity professionals, SaaS practitioners, and tech enthusiasts who have genuine, hands-on experience with the topics they write about. We value real expertise over writing credentials — our editorial team handles the polish.
You don't need to be a professional writer. You need to know your topic deeply enough that a reader walks away with something actionable they couldn't have found in a generic Google search.

Content Requirements
Every submission must meet the following standards. Articles that don't meet these requirements will be returned for revision or declined.
| Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
| Originality | 100% original. Not published, submitted, or pending anywhere else. We run every submission through plagiarism detection. |
| Word Count | Minimum 1,200 words. Comprehensive guides can go up to 3,000 words. Quality and depth matter more than hitting a number. |
| Structure | Clear H2/H3 heading hierarchy. Short paragraphs (2–4 sentences). Bullet points or numbered lists for steps and comparisons. |
| Accuracy | Every factual claim must be accurate and current. Include sources in parentheses for statistics and data points. |
| Writing Quality | Clear, conversational English. Grade 8–10 readability. No keyword stuffing, no AI-generated filler, no fluff paragraphs. |
| Images | Include 2–4 relevant images (screenshots, diagrams, or photos). Must be original or properly licensed. No copyrighted material. |
| Author Bio | Submit a 40–80 word bio with your name, title/expertise, and optionally a link to your LinkedIn or personal website. |
| File Format | Google Docs (preferred) or Microsoft Word (.docx). No PDFs, no plain text emails, no HTML files. |
What We Don't Accept
- Content that has been published on other websites or blogs (including Medium, LinkedIn articles, etc.)
- Promotional articles disguised as how-to guides or reviews
- AI-generated content without substantial human rewriting and original insight
- Articles under 1,200 words that lack sufficient depth to be genuinely useful
- Content outside our editorial verticals (gambling, adult, pharmaceutical, cryptocurrency speculation)
- Submissions without a real author name and verifiable credentials
How the Process Works
From pitch to publication, here's what to expect:
Submit Your Idea
Use our topic proposal form with your name, email, topic, and a brief note on your expertise.
Topic Approval
We review every proposal within 48 hours. If approved, we'll confirm the topic and share any specific guidance.
Write & Submit
Write your article following these guidelines and submit via Google Docs or Word. Include images and your author bio.
Review & Publish
Our editors review for accuracy, clarity, and formatting. Published within 3–5 business days with your full byline.
Tip: Submit a topic proposal before writing the full article. This saves you time by confirming the topic is a fit before you invest hours writing. We decline about 40% of proposals — usually because the topic overlaps with existing content.
Formatting Guidelines
Follow these formatting rules to speed up the editorial process. Articles that arrive properly formatted are published faster.
- Title: Clear, specific, and under 65 characters. Include the primary topic. Avoid clickbait or vague headlines.
- Introduction: 60–100 words. State what the reader will learn and why it matters. Hook them in the first sentence.
- Headings: Use H2 for main sections, H3 for subsections. Every H2 should start with a direct answer to the question the heading implies.
- Paragraphs: 2–4 sentences maximum. Break long paragraphs into shorter ones. One idea per paragraph.
- Lists: Use bullet points for features, comparisons, and summaries. Use numbered lists for sequential steps.
- Links: Include 2–3 relevant references to authoritative sources. Link to official documentation, research, or established publications.
- Conclusion: 60–80 words. Summarize 2–3 key takeaways. End with a specific, actionable recommendation.
